Where can I park in Nashville?

Where are public restrooms?

There are three public restroom buildings in Nashville:

  1. Mound Street Restrooms (north end of town)
  2. Village Green Restrooms (central)
  3. Old School Way Restrooms, (south end of town, near the Visitors Center)

What time do the shops open?

Stores are typically open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. However, on weekends and during the fall season, many do stay open later. All shops are locally owned and operated, setting their own individual hours. Many shops are open year-round.

Where is the best place to eat?

Where is Brown County State Park located?

From the Visitors Center, the North Gate Covered Bridge entrance is 2 miles east on State Road 46 East and the West Gate entrance is 2 miles west on State Road 46 West.

Is Brown County closed during the winter?

Absolutely not. There are multiple hotels with indoor pools and an abundance of private cabins with hot tubs. During the winter season, you can still find plenty of outdoor activities and live entertainment. While some shops do limit their business hours in the winter, many shops and restaurants do stay open for business.

The holidays are a special time in Brown County. Most shops and businesses are open for the season. On major holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving day, shops are typically closed, but some restaurants offer special holiday meals or buffets.
