EXPERTS ONLY PLEASE – Schooner Trace is not for the faint of heart or those with a lack of skill.
As the most technically demanding trail in the State Park, riders are encouraged to stop and scout features such as challenging rock gardens and tight switchbacks before riding them.
This very narrow trail will demand sharp focus as you ride close to the edge of steep drop-offs.
Start this ride on either the northern or southern end of Walnut, and get ready for a ride you won’t forget.
