Winter Hike Series: Hike to the Lake that Never Was

Head over to the Nature Center to meet for this exciting winter hike! The Hike to the Lake that Never Was will take you along Horse Trail B, descending into Hidden Valley and to the Taylor hollow dam site. This hike will be quite rugged and includes several creek crossings. The distance will be approximately two miles round trip, and will take 1.5 hours to complete. Please dress for the weather and creek crossings, including footwear you don’t mind getting wet or that will keep your feet dry! Meet at the Nature Center before carpooling to the trailhead to start the hike.

 

Dogs are welcome, but must be on a 6ft. leash and get along well with other dogs and humans alike.

*Park gate fees apply. Advanced registration is not necessary and there is no limit on attendance.
