Felting – Amy Laswell
Spinning – Carole Ricketts-Corey
Knitting/Sewing – Lynne Mikolon
Upcycled Sewing – Nancy Crocker
About the artists:
Diane Street is a weaver and a fiber artist descended from a long line of creative women. She is a master weaver with over 30 years experience and has a permanent studio in the gallery. Her scarves and stoles will last a lifetime.
Amy Laswell creates felted bowls that evoke landscape images. Her beautiful bowls can be used in a variety of ways and make a beautiful way to hold loose objects, cover a planter, or add a splash of color to your home. Amy has a permanent studio in the gallery.
Carole Ricketts-Corey hand spins and dyes yarns that can be used to make a variety of beautiful products. Her finished yarns are on sale in the gallery and she will be demonstrating the art of spinning.
Lynne Mikolon creates colorful and useful items by weaving, knitting or sewing. Add a splash of color and fun to the kitchen with her bowl cozies and pot holders, or accent your wardrobe with her hats and scarves.
Nancy Crocker sews and upcycles to create her one of a kind pieces. Whether it’s a purse made from an old hat, a canvas photo incorporated into a tote bag, or another repurposed item you’ll find a unique piece that’s also useful.
