Kathryn Combs is a printmaker and lifelong Hoosier. Kathryn’s work combines found and archival images with printmaking, the process of creating repeating images using specially prepared plates or blocks. Her work explores the relationships between public and private life. Layering family photos with public records, maps, data, and drawings her prints reference interaction, intimacy, and narrative. Kathryn received her BFA in Printmaking in 2018 from Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, IN. She is currently pursuing and MFA from Indiana University in Bloomington and plans to graduate in May 2021.
Exhibit is open during regular business hours: Wednesday thru Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Gallery will be open until 7 p.m. on Friday, August 28th for the monthly Fourth Friday Art Walk.
