16th Annual Abe Martin’s County Picnic and NashCar Outhouse Race

The 16th Annual Abe Martin’s County Picnic and NashCar Outhouse Races will be happening on Saturday, September 17, centered at the Village Green in Nashville! Come for the food, fun and music! There will be the traditional hog roast, hamburger, hotdogs, potato chips, baked beans and drinks.
The Indiana Starfire Cloggers will be at Four corners at 11:00 AM. Corn Hole games will be available in the streets at different times during the day as will the “We Care Gang” Plunger Toss. The 16th Annual “Nashcar Outhouse Races” will take place later in the afternoon and the Indiana Fever “Freddy Fever” will be on hand to wave the checkered flag. Outhouse Race Team entries will compete for points through the Plunger Toss competition and Corn Hole competitions. Teams will also compete for “Community Choice” which is determined by the most $1.00 votes collected and for best overall team and entry appearance/performance. The race begins at the top of the hill in front of the Hobnob Restaurant and runs down hill, west, towards the Gazebo.
