Author Rachel Berenson Perry, with foreword by Jennifer McComas, chronicles the life of this exceptional artist who overcame numerous obstacles throughout his career and refused to be pigeonholed by his race. Author Rachel Perry will discuss the book, answer questions and sign books. Books will be available for purchase (cash or check only).

Jamming its way back to the Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground for a ninth year, this four-day, family friendly fest will celebrate the life, music, and legacy of the late, great John Hartford. Dubbed the ‘most laid-back festival in America,’ the John Hartford Memorial Festival will feature over 40 performers on three outdoor stages, campground jamming, children’s activities, workshops, a band contest, songwriters showcase, and more.

There's even a lunch cafe with homemade pies and daily entertainment by local musicians. There also will be a quilt raffle this year on Saturday. This event is presented by The Pioneer Women's Club and sponsored by the Nashville Spice Company and The Yellow Door!

Back for a 53rd year, Bill Monroe’s Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival, returns to Brown County! Taking place at the beautiful Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground, this prime music event will feature eight straight days of some of the best in bluegrass, making it the oldest, continuous running bluegrass festival in the world. With over 70 bands scheduled to perform, the fest will include over ten hours of entertainment each day, with ongoing music from sun up to sun down. Not only will the festival feature performances by bluegrass greats, this family-friendly event also will include music and instrument workshops nearly every day.
