Celebrate our independence with a special emphasis on our responsibility to environmentalism and the cost of our footprint at eXplore Brown County! Guides will share with you the habitat of our hardwood forest, but they will also alert you to the environmental challenges in Brown County and the Hoosier National Forest. eXplore Brown County understands the importance of education in preservation. 15 zip lines included in four tours give will educate you in the best environment...fun! Soar freely with the birds 90 feet in the air from tree top to tree top and visualize the millions of critters below you that need you to care for their habitat. Of course, the adrenaline rush is still included!

TRIRI Rainstorm Bike Ride

TRIRI (Touring Ride in Rural Indiana) Rainstorm offers an intensive week of cycling for riders preferring longer distances. Each day's route is approximately 100 miles, and there are no layover days. Rainstorm travels over hard-surfaced back roads in southern Indiana. Terrain ranges from rolling to hilly and you can definitely expect to be challenged! Three nights lodging in Indiana State Park inns, Brown County included, and two nights in nice hotels is included in the tour fee. All accommodations offer comfortable beds, air conditioning, and free WiFi.

If you’re scared of heights night flights are perfect because you can’t see how high you are. At night, keep those ears open you can hear the different types of wildlife. Each guest is provided with a headlamp and/or glow stick. Tiki lit decks 60' in the air. Zip into the darkness where only the moon, stars and red headlamp light your way. Choose from two tour options and you must book a minimum of 3 hours in advance same day.

Back to school, but the fun does not need to end! eXplore Brown County is proud to say that it's a true tree top to tree top canopy adventure. No need to go to Costa Rica, the dense hardwood forest of Brown County and the Hoosier National Forest provides the same canopy experience. Escape the heat of the city and head for the tree tops to learn about the ecosystem of the woods. There is much to learn as you soar with the birds. Animals of the woods move freely and you may encounter lizards, chipmunks, raccoons, snakes, and perhaps a beautiful white tailed deer. You will find that learning at eXplore Brown County can be fun and exhilarating as guides share their knowledge of the woods and help you to appreciate all the exciting species of plant and animal life around you.
