Hibernation is over…couch potatoes revolt! Welcome the animals of the forest, it’s spring at eXplore Brown County and you are a part of the beauty! The animals are out to entertain you. So, hop on the fire truck or the WWII Deuce and go deep into the hardwood forest to zip on 15 different zip lines included on four tours. Try out the Leap of Faith and the Stairway to Heaven too!

You’re never too old to enjoy eXplore Brown County’s 15 different zip lines offered on four uniquely different tours! The courses are low impact and lots of fun for all ages. It only takes a short climb of 12 steps to a platform and then you are soaring on a zip line up to 80 feet in the air! Bucket List Month features the quips of Brown County cartoonist Ken Hubbard’s character Abe Martin. Hubbard's humor is as timely today as it was during the 1930s. Guides will share the folk characters of Brown County through Hubbard’s humor and Abe’s enlightened words from Brown County history!

Choose between 5K, 8-mile, 10-mile, and half-marathon (13.1 mile) courses on a natural foot trail that meanders through the mature hardwood forests of Morgan-Monroe State Forest! The courses follow forest trails, and have long, mostly level stretches with several steep hills, which are tempered by switchbacks.

Watch out! Your teachers are waiting for you at eXplore Brown County. But, fun and adventure, is what they have to teach you! Let the teaching guides also share with you an education of the Hoosier National Hardwood Forest. Perhaps you will see a white tail deer and her new fawn! The woods are full of baby critters just waiting to say hi. It's important to also discuss how we can all preserve this beautiful place and the animals that are threatened and endangered. Your teaching guides also will share some fun stories about Brown County’s colorful past and the characters that made it a famous art colony. All this education while you soar 80 feet in the air over 15 different zip lines included on four different tours. Education is awesome at eXplore Brown County!

When the sun goes down, headlamps and tiki torches light the way on zip lines in the woods of Brown County! If you’re scared of heights night flights are perfect because you can’t see how high you are. At night, keep those ears open you can hear the different types of wildlife. Each guest is provided with a headlamp and/or glow stick. Tiki lit decks 60' in the air. Zip into the darkness where only the moon, stars and red headlamp light your way. Choose from two tour options and you must book a minimum of 3 hours in advance same day.
