Brown County's Famous Foliage Showing Some Color

It has begun! Brown County’s famous foliage has started to change. Shades of yellow and orange can be seen lining the roads, including in the Brown County State Park. Fall’s colorful display also can be seen dotting the edges of the hillsides and sprinkled throughout Brown County’s stunning vistas. With peak weeks for the leaves on the horizon, each day brings more and more color.
The next two weeks are likely to be prime time for the famed foliage to reach its optimal autumn hue, making it the perfect time for visitors to take a trip to Brown County. With plenty of great spots to admire the leaves, along with a long list of activities, events, shopping, dining options, and outdoor adventure opportunities, Brown County is a fall fun destination unlike any other!
Check out the leaves and explore less-traveled parts of the county on the Back Roads of Brown County Studio Tour, take a hike in the State Park or Yellowwood State Forest, or simply shop and stroll in the Village. Regardless of what is on the agenda while visiting, Brown County is sure to be a memorable fall trip.
