Annual biking, hiking, and running events:
January: Winter Hike; Frosty Trails 5 Mile Run
For a more laid back adventure join in on the Winter Hike. If you're up for more of a challenge, be sure to sign up for the Frosty Trails 5 Mile Run. Both events always on MLK weekend.
March: Death March
Teams of two race to be the first to reach a select list of historical cemetery check-points in and around the Hoosier National Forest.
May: Dances with Dirt Trail Run
Test your endurance as you take on a grueling 10k, half marathon, full marathon, 50K, 50 mile, or 100 mile relay with others. Enjoy some BBQ and live music at Mike's Dance Barn when the race is over.
June: DINO Series - Trail Run & Mountain Bike Race
Join DINO (Do INdiana Off Road) for a trail run on June 4 and a Mountain Bike Race on June 5 in the Brown County State Park.
June: Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Clinic
An entire weekend of camping, mountain biking, fun and friends! Certified instructors teach riders of all ages and skill levels.
August: The Goat Ride - Touring Bicycle Ride
Not a race, rather a touring bicycle ride where you can start at your own leisure and travel at your own pace. Various routes will be available ranging in distance from 12 to 116 miles.
August: Tour de Upland
A weekend of camping, beer and biking at Camp Framasa in Brown County. 21+ event.
September: TRIRI September Escapade
Guides you through scenic and historic southeastern Indiana with overnights 3 state parks: Brown County, Spring Mill, and McCormick's Creek. Expect to ride an average of 70 miles a day.
October: Brown County Epic
Mountain Bike Festival and Epic Ride within the Brown County State Park and Yellowwood State Forest. Enjoy camping, music, beer, food, games, prizes and more. Features 100, 75, 50, and 25-mile routes.
October: Tecumseh Trail Marathon
A 26.2 mile trail run through Morgan-Monroe and Yellowwood State Forest during the beautiful fall colors in Brown County.
November: Gravel Grovel
Self-supported, solo riding excursion through the Hoosier National Forest and beyond; all on a mix of gravel road, singletrack trail, fire road, and pavement.
