Churches

Church life has been a part of most Brown County people from the time of the first settlers.  Brown County has over 50 churches from the little one room churches normally found in the more remote areas of the county to the much larger churches normally found in and around Nashville as well as all sizes in between.  Most have Sunday school and some, such as the Nashville Methodist Church go a step farther and have preschool and child care facilities.  The Parkview Nazarene offers a variety of activities for the youth and Sunday school for all ages.  The Country Gospel Music Church was designed and founded to minister to tourists.  They are music based and have had visitors from all 50 states and some foreign countries.  A few of the churches have their own web site.  We think you will find what you are looking for in one of our churches and we encourage you to attend the one of your choice....
