A few of the Special Collections that are available at the library are as follows:

- Genealogy Collection. The collection is maintained by the Brown County Genealogical Society.
- Brown County Democrat on microfilm.
- Census Records on microfilm.

Technology resources that are available:

- Online card catalog. May be accessed from library or from home.
- TDD - Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (812) 988-2850
- FAX , (812) 988-8119, send and receive. $1.00 first page, 50 cents per page thereafter.
- Black copies or printouts, 10 cents per side.
- Color copies or printouts, 50 cents per side.
- Laminating machine, 25 cents to $1.00 per item.
- Public access computers offer word processing, spreadsheet, and desktop publishing.
- Internet access is available. You must sign an Internet Use Agreement.
- Visitors may access their e-mail.

One large meeting room that can be converted into three smaller rooms.
