Story is a quaint village founded in 1851. Today, the entire town has been turned into The Story Inn, one of the Midwest’s premiere inns and restaurants. The Story Inn is Indiana’s oldest country inn, featuring fourteen beautifully renovated rooms and cottages, a gourmet restaurant housed in the former general store, and a resident ghost named the “Blue Lady”.
A visit to the Story Inn is like taking a step back in time! The Story Inn also provides a unique setting for weddings, meetings, retreats and get-togethers. In addition, wine tastings and live music are regular activities.
Many believe the Story Inn to be the finest restaurant in the state of Indiana. This charming 19th century village near Nashville offers gourmet dining, parties, and fine wines! Banquet facility and customized menu available. Dining Room closed on Mondays.
An ideal and unique setting for off-site meetings and conferences. Just 13 miles south of Nashville.
