Welcome to Carmel Corn Cottage, one of Nashville, Indiana’s oldest specialty shops.
This tiny cottage with the bright red roof opened in 1978 and has a long history of making popcorn and caramel candy. As you walk along the sidewalk before you get to the front door, you can hear owner Jim Rispoli’s welcoming greeting “Hello! Come On In! as he beckons visitors and locals to come inside and see what he has cooking.
Jim is one of the friendliest shop owners in the Village of Nashville. Jim bought the business in 1997 mainly because he loves people and he has been making popcorn and friends ever since. In addition to the amazing flavored popcorn, the shop is filled with old signs, unique popcorn trinkets and photos of customers over the years.

The staff welcomes visitors from around the world who stop in to buy their favorite flavors of popcorn and sweet treats. A customer favorite? Pooch Corn – a mix made just for dogs, a must have to take home to your best friend.
Popcorn making demonstrations are available for groups up to 20 children or 10 adults. Watch how we make our famous popcorn, receive free samples and take home a fresh sample bag of our Carmel Corn popcorn. Cost is $3 per person, allow 25-30 minutes, advance reservations are required.
