About Back Roads Studio Tour
The Back Roads of Brown County Studio Tour is a FREE self-guided driving tour showcasing the arts and crafts of the present day "Arts Colony of the Midwest."
Visit more than a dozen home studios, featuring the work of more than 20 artists. Meet the artists, watch them work, explore the spaces that inspire them. Get a rare glimpse into the lives of working artists. Buy handcrafted artwork from those who made it: pottery, painting, wood, metal, fiber, gourds, stonecarving, jewelry, handbound books and more.
Between studios, you will drive winding back roads decked out in nature's finest fall colors.
Pick up a free brochure and map at the Visitor Center in Nashville, or download it from our website. Studios open daily in October, generally from 10am - 5pm.
