About Back Roads Studio Tour
The Back Roads of Brown County Studio Tour is a FREE self-guided driving tour showcasing the arts and crafts of the present day "Arts Colony of the Midwest."
Visit more than a dozen home studios, featuring the work of more than 20 local artists! From pottery, painting, wood, and metal art to fiber, gourds, stone carving, jewelry, hand bound books and more, the Back Roads Tour offers a rare glimpse into the lives of working artists and the spaces that inspire them. Between studios, enjoy Brown County's beautiful fall foliage as you drive the less traveled roads of the area!
Pick up a free brochure and map at the Visitor Center in Nashville, or download it here. Studios open daily in October, generally from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
