Anne Ryan Miller Glass Studio
About Anne Ryan Miller Glass Studio
Anne Ryan Miller Glass Studio has been creating unique and beautiful stained glass for residential, commercial and liturgical environments since 1976. She invented and specializes in the copper overlay technique using the glass as a canvas background to her metal designs. The studio produces lamps, window hangings and wall pieces in an eclectic variety of styles and techniques including sandblasting, painting, Tiffany construction and multi-layered construction.
She also works in a technique she calls transformed photography. She takes her nature and abstracted nature photographs into the computer and transforms them into gorgeous art pieces. Some are reminiscent of wood block prints, batik, watercolor, oil painting, stained glass and colored etchings. All are the outcome of a number of processes that she uses to create these images.
Located in the historic studio of early Brown County painter Dale Bessire, the glass and photography studio is open most days from 11 - 4. Call for directions and hours.
