Currently there are no grant dollars available for the 2015 Grant Cycle. They have been allocated to the National Maple Syrup Festival, March 5-8, 2015.

Based on the outcome of the festival, funds may be available later in the year. Please check back after April or watch your inbox if you have signed up to receive our emails.

Tourism Event Grant Applications

The purpose of this grant is to provide financial assistance to market and advertise a special event to reach a broader market than the current budget allows.

An emphasis should be placed on growing the event to increase revenues with a goal of sustainability

Grant Amounts
$500 minimum, $5,000 maximum

Consideration will be given to events that

  • Promote a positive image of Brown County
  • Promote and encourage overnight visitors to Brown County
  • Encourage visitation during shoulder months
  • Create a direct local economic impact
  • Draw a minimum of 150 people
  • Draw media exposure

Requested monies must be used for Advertising and Marketing


Grant Process
Applications can be submitted at any time, but must be submitted online one week prior to a CVB Board Meeting in order to start the application process. Please allow 2-3 months for your application to be processed.
