Muddy Roots Spring Weekender

The 5th annual Muddy Roots Spring Weekender hosted by Muddy Roots Music Recordings! Limited to 500 tickets. Head to eXplore Brown County for a mini version of the big Muddy Roots Music Festival - more like a family reunion or roots music company picnic! Nestled away in the hollers of Brown County with 1000 acres of beautiful trees and a lake. Music from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday. String bands, country music, roots blues, punk blues, folk, Americana, bluegrass and everything in between! Camping available.

51st Annual Bill Monroe Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival

Take part in the oldest, continuous running bluegrass festival in the world! This great family event features several days of some of the best in bluegrass! Enjoy music performances all day long, as well as music and instrument workshops daily. Be sure to check out the Bill Monroe Hall of Fame & Country Star Museum and Uncle Pen's cabin while you are there! Ticket includes admission to the festival, workshops, and museum.

6th Annual Indiana State Fingerstyle Guitar Competition

One of the most prestigious and extraordinary events of the year: 30+ talented competitors vie for the nationally recognized title and trophy, a custom-made $5K guitar! 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. --wristbands so that you can come and go throughout the day! Beer, wine, mixed drinks, hotdogs, and snacks will be sold in the auditorium. Also, there will be an evening concert featuring winners and special guests at 7:30 p.m.

Chordlighters in Concert

The Chordlighters are a 25+ member barbershop chorus composed of singers from Greenwood to Columbus and surrounding Indiana communities! Barbershop singing, like jazz and spiritual music, is a truly American style of music and is a chromatic four-part harmony sung by unaccompanied voices. This performance will include a patriotic segment. The show benefits Shriners' Children's Hospitals. Beer and wine sold in the auditorium.
