Barn Dance for the Trees

Get your Americana dance-vibe on for a boot-stomping evening in support of the Indiana Forest Alliance! $10 admission benefits Indiana Forest Alliance's mission of protecting and preserving Indiana's hardwood forest ecosystems for the enjoyment of all. At 6 p.m., enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet dinner. From 6-7 p.m: ballroom music and dancing, plus a brief group lesson by renowned dance teacher Mary Hoedeman. From 7 p.m. onward: music by Jamie Gans and the Westside Alley Cats, with square dances and contra dances called by Tamara Loewenthal. Beginners enthusiastically welcomed! No partner needed!

51st Annual Bill Monroe Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival

Take part in the oldest, continuous running bluegrass festival in the world! This great family event features several days of some of the best in bluegrass! Enjoy music performances all day long, as well as music and instrument workshops daily. Be sure to check out the Bill Monroe Hall of Fame & Country Star Museum and Uncle Pen's cabin while you are there! Ticket includes admission to the festival, workshops, and museum.
