Join the Visitors Center for Maple "Sapturdays" this month! Head to the new Visitors Center for a Sap School talk before getting out and about for some hands-on maple fun! From learning the basics and tapping trees to sap collection and cooking with the final product, each Saturday will be a little different, but equally as great. Be sure to check out Maple on the Menu for delicious maple dishes all month long! Proceeds from Maple "Sapturdays" benefit the Friends of the Brown County State Park.

Learn all about maple trees as you take a hike along the Discovery Trail in the beautiful Brown County State Park! Let Park Naturalist Patrick teach you how to spot them along your trek. Come learn how to boot scoot boogie! Doors open at 6 p.m., and line dance lessons with Billy are at 6:30-7:30 p.m. Try out what you learned when Mike's smooth country band comes on at 7:30 p.m.

Join seasoned plein air painters Jeanne McLeish and Jerry Smith as they share their best practices, tips, and advice on painting in plein air. Topics will include supplies and equipment, as well as how to use plein air studies to create studio paintings. This event is free and open to the public and no registration is necessary. Those attending are urged, but not required to make a donation.

This batik class combines drawing, painting, using a wax resist, dying with inks and watercolors, and embellishing. You will have time to create two or three small pieces in this workshop. Hands on History's April Program for children 8-12 years old will learn about Maypole traditions and activities. Children will learn about history in a fun interactive way! This popular program requires pre-registration due to limited capacity!
Build a box for the bluebirds! This program will meet at the Nature Center and requires you to pre-register. Each box is $10 and proceeds go to the Brown County Bluebird Society to help grow the population of these amazingly beautiful birds.

SEED Brown County will be sharing heirloom seeds from its seed library and seed box with community members at the Library's Annual Plant Sale! Then, head inside for a presentation on Seed Stewardship and the SEED BC story. You will learn the importance of seed saving and what exactly it means to steward seeds. If you'd like to get involved in the SEED Project, this is the event to go to. It’s fun and it’s empowering. Come to get a taste. Seed ya then!

Check out the 13th Annual Sundance Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Skills Camp, geared to empower all women to successfully ride trails! Enjoy a fun-filled weekend of camaraderie, inspiration, and strength! The Sundance program builds better bikers one skill at a time from the beginner through the advanced mountain bike rider. There will be stellar instruction by passionate, experienced, and certified coaches. Learn the fundamental skills from the ground up! Registration begins March 12. You must pre-register to attend. This event will bring several of the finest fingerstyle guitar players in the United States to Brown County for an exciting competition, film premiere, concert, guitar workshops, and more!
