August Hands on History Children's Program

Hands on History Children's Program for August will cover the lazy days of a pioneer summer with hands on, interactive activities on compass reading, weather signs, and survival skills. This popular program for children 8-12 years of age requires pre-registration due to limited enrollment!

Hands on History Children's Program for September will be School Days in our one room school house with school marm Nancy Jo Reed! How was is like in a Pioneer days classroom? Interactive fun for children 8-12. This very popular program requires pre-registration due to limited enrollment!

Meet The Seeds: A Hands-On Class

Join Torrie Rae of SEED Brown County (Indiana) & Ben Cohen of Small House Farm (Michigan) in a hands-on seed saving demo class... happening at the Nashville Farmer's Market at the Brown County Inn parking lot. Come "meet the seeds" that sustain us! Continue to share in learning about the seeds in our continually growing and evolving seed library. Learn how to process homestead size seed harvests. Plants and seeds to process will be available, but the community is encouraged to bring plants and seeds too!

Interpreting Realty - Carolyn Anderson Workshop

2018 October 15-18

Learn to interpret and see visual information in a new and interesting way! Carolyn’s teaching is based on years of experience explaining how to interpret edges, color temperature, and shapes, and learning how to recognize patterns and make comparisons. Her goal is to empower artists to look and see a little differently and be able to expand their own personal expression. Instruction will be in oils and the class is primarily for the intermediate to advanced painter.
