Every second Saturday of each month... The Center for Folk Traditions in partnership with Weed Patch Musicwill be holding a Fiddle Tunes acoustic jam! All acoustic instruments welcome... If you play the fiddle, banjo, guitar, dulcimer, mandolin, or anything that would accompany those instruments, come on down to the Fiddle Tunes Jam. This session offers a relaxed environment for beginning and intermediate players to jam, learn some new tunes, new tricks, and have a great time. Rowntree records was an unofficial, member driven music label centered in Richmond Indiana. Come visit the Center for Folk Traditions in Nashville, IN and explore the multimedia exhibit and learn what this small, young group of dedicated do-it-yourself artists were able to do outside the commercial recording industry before the era of massive Internet communication.
