Artists Ornament Sale
October 24, 2009 - December 31, 2009

Art Association artists have created hand painted ornaments featuring Brown County scenes reviving a tradition at the gallery started back in the 1950s. Historic ornaments on display as well.

Holiday Passport Promotion

As part of our Christmas in the Village, join our Holiday Shopping Passport Promotion... our Holiday Passport is a fun way to help visitors shop, dine, stay & play in Brown County & Nashville during the holiday season.  Pick up your passport when in town and once it is filled up, you can submit it for our prize drawings in January.  Good luck & have fun, Happy Holidays!

Senior Citizens Exhibit

Come enjoy the artwork of our Senior Citizens... explore art tradition!  Any Senior (55+) is eligible.  Entries due November 14th.  The historic Brown County Art Guild also displays famous works of art from significantly recognized Brown County Artisans.  See you here!

Line Dance Lessons at Mike's Dance Barn

Every Monday... come enjoy some Country Line Dance lessons with Teacher Billy Crase.  He will keep you busy learning all the favorites and most popular dances across the country.  Don't forget to yell out a big "Hello Billy" when you enter the dance floor.  He loves when you do that!

Ruralismo Revisited

The Center for Folk Traditions in Nashville, IN announces its fall gallery opening with the exhibit: “Ruralismo” Revisited: Multimedia Artefacts from Richmond Indiana’s Rowntree RecordsRowntree records was an unofficial, member driven music label centered in Richmond Indiana. Come visit the Center for Folk Traditions in Nashville, IN and explore the multimedia exhibit and learn what this small, young group of dedicated do-it-yourself artists were able to do outside the commercial recording industry before the era of massive Internet communication.  See you here!
