Maritime Exhibit at the Brown County Art Guild
The Brown County Art Guild is excited to present a two-month long exhibit focusing on Maritime scenes. From tugs to tankers and seabirds to seashores, you’ll see work in a variety of mediums from the Guild's historic permanent collection, as well as new work from Guild Artist Members with a focus on water, something that connects us all. Every living organism relies on water to survive. The human body is over 50% water and 70% of earth’s surface is covered in it. Indiana may be landlocked, but the Guild is turning its eyes towards the oceans this summer!
Guild Artist Member Donna Shortt will kick things off with a Maritime painting demonstration on Sunday, July 1 from 12-2 p.m. A second demonstration will be by Guild Artist Member Larry Rudolech. See Larry paint on Saturday, July 21 from 1-3 p.m.
