Village History Tour

Learn the fascinating history of Brown County during this guided, walking tour through the Village! This tour begins and ends at the Visitors Center and includes the local natural history of the land, peoples, industry, and founding of the art colony. The stroll includes up to five rest stops and progresses from the oldest settlement to the new Visitors Center. Enjoy yarns of the humor and the hardships, as well as the contrast between the rural folks and the artists told by your tour guide. The tour itself is book-ended by two history films shown in the Visitors Center!
Be sure to bring your good walking shoes for the one mile excursion through the Village! Advance reservations are not required. Simply walk in and sign up in the Visitors Center. Holidays and rainy days may affect tour availability.
