Join in this annual all-Brown County cooperative event–a weekend spent hiking, counting wildflowers, identifying Indiana flora and fauna on hikes, boat trips, and photography excursions all over the county! All hikes and programs are free, though some locations may have gate fees.
Over the past 32 years, Brown County’s Spring Wildflower Foray has grown from one to three days, doubled the number of hikes and programs, and expanded to new wildflower habitats–in Brown County and beyond!
Hikes and programs are held on T. C. Steele grounds on established trails, and on other nearby natural areas including DNR properties, Hoosier National Forest, Yellowwood State Park, etc.
WHERE: Multiple locations in Brown County including T.C. Steele State Historic Site (4220 T.C. Steele Rd. Nashville, IN), Hoosier National Forest, Lake Monroe, etc.
