Every writer has a meaningful story to tell... the art is to let the stories speak through one’s writing. This weekend workshop series will help writers of all genres utilize personal experiences and creativity to strengthen their prose and produce powerful work. Previous writing experience is welcomed but not required. Each class is self-contained. Take one class or take the series. Saturday, January 10: Perspectives for the New Year: Exploring Point of View Sunday, January 11: Deepening the Life of Prose: Setting and Description Alexander Weinstein has worked as a creative writing teacher and freelance editor for the past ten years. He is a graduate of Naropa University’s Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics in Boulder, Colorado and presently teaches creative writing at Indiana University.
